Website Redesign & Rebranding

With over 140 years of expertise spanning the appliance and metal industries, Blomberg has firmly established itself as a trusted name in quality home appliances, underpinned by a proud heritage of precision German engineering.

This project centred on a comprehensive redesign and restructuring of Blomberg's existing website, driven by a clear commercial challenge: converting passive visitors into active purchasers. I overhauled the main Navigation and CTAs to create a more intuitive, conversion-focused user journey, while simultaneously adapting the experience to meet the demands of a rapidly growing mobile audience. Alongside these UX improvements, I implemented targeted SEO enhancements to strengthen the site's organic visibility and support its long-term discoverability.

The primary focus was making the site more intuitive and accessible across all devices. I restructured the Navigation to surface main Product categories directly, with sub-Categories in dropdowns for one-click access, then redesigned both this and the Product Filter system specifically for mobile. I shortened pages through better content structure, standardised design guidelines site-wide to eliminate customer confusion caused by the red branding being applied to non-CTA elements, and enhanced the overall aesthetic with larger imagery. Together, these improvements also delivered meaningful SEO gains.

Beyond the larger structural changes, I also made smaller, but notable changes. This included repositioning product titles ahead of model codes, since a technical identifier meant little to the average customer, replacing redundant "Where To Buy" buttons with direct product links, swapping horizontal tabs for collapsible vertical sections, and made significant UX improvements to both the Product Registration form and the Model-Number Finder.
